even my EDD is 10 dec. and there are so much more similarilities btw us like showing up prob etc.... where are u from? what is ur age? is it ur first preg. ? would like to know more.....

about the wt gain: I have consulted docs and read some stuff on it and it's aboslutely not an issue to worry as far as the U/S shows the baby is growing normal. They say if the preconception wt of mother is even slightly on the higher side the wt gain may not be phenomenal ( reason the stored fats are used) . Another theory goes that if again the U/S shows baby's growth normal then another possibility is that the whatever wt gain is there it is effecting growing uterus, baby etc.and not the storing in mother's fats. Also it is a fact that baby gains fat in 7th month and after. So that and the above theories explains why some of us are not showing that much. It also means we have healthy set of muscles which are not bulging / lagging. This will help us getting back in shape after delivery !!! Also the normacy of a pregnancy is measured always by growing uterus from vagina to the top hard part on our tummies ( this is what doc feels when we go for check ups!) and it is never the abdomen or the belly around.

about me I am a chemical engg. and am working N. Delhi and stay about 17 km from my work place so i drive about 34 kms daily. I am 27 and soon will be 28. i hope we'll be sharing more

Meghana : I have started 26th week . but i have only 9 pound weight gain also .. I'm worried ...but my dr. told me that don;t woory about weight ...He is satisfied ....so i'm satidfied too :)

Meghana : I too have gained only 8 pounds this far & I am in my 26th week at present. My mom keeps telling me I will gain more in the third trimester.

Pooja : Nice hearing more about you. Thanks for all the info & for caring. It certainly made me feel better after reading everyting you had to say. I think it's awesome that you manage such a long commute everyday ...do you have someone to help you with the housework? do you feel your baby's movements everyday ? Do take care of your health.

Good to see your message and to know that we share similarities :)

I live in Los Angeles , am 28 years old and this is my 2nd pregnancy.

I lost my first baby last year towards the end of my first trimester.

So far, this one has been smooth with God's Grace. I haven't gained much weight though and am not showing much as you already know ... I have a glucose tolerance test next week and am seeing my doc too .. so looking forward to that.

Where do you live in India ? Are you working ?

I am a Clinical Psychologist by training but am not working at present ... I was, prior to my wedding.

How is your pregnancy going ? If there is anything you'd like to ask me or share, feel free :) I'd like that.

Hey me too sailing in the same boat..Lie I had mentioned before..I have strted my 25th week now but only gained abt 9 pounds & i am not showing at all :(:(.. I am 27 yrs old & this is my first baby ..
But everyone has ben telling me that you will start showing in the 7 th month....
