I am currently going thru a low phase and I am pouring my heart out. Nothing major but plenty of small issues which nag my head and I am in pits. We have made a major investment and so the financial position is currently very tight and I have to watch out every penny spent and since I hate to reduce my kids' priveleges, I happily reduce mine so that everybody stays happy. This means more work and less enjoyment for me. But this is temporary and we will be back to old times soon. my younger daughter was bullied by my close friend's child and no matter howmuch I tried to handle the issue sensitively, the issue had to be taken to the school authorities and has permenantly scarred my friendship and this lady being more sociable has been bad mouthing me to everybody ever since. An other close friend has been acting funny because my husband had been promoted over her husband at work and today she returned my elder daughter's copy(which she had borrowed since her child had missed school) saying my daughter's handwriting was horrible and full of mistakes. I controlled my outburst at the nick of time and avoided a bad scene. My husband,whose pillar of strength I always am, ignores me when I am depressed. It has always been like this. As long as I stay happy and smiling and offer solutions to all his problems, he is normal. The moment I sulk, he is distant as if to say please keep your problems away from me. I agree my problems are trivial but they affect me right? Yesterday my younger child's teacher called up to say that she is not participating in school activities and is being difficult in school for which I still have to find a solution.
