hi! my son will soon be 7 months but hasn't rolled yet - both ways and has a little arched back. even though this is my second baby i am a little lost as to when children start to sit as my son still has arched back, curved bums and doesn't like to be on his tummy for long. what can i do ? any ideas ? is this normal ! can anyone relate ? thanks ! Hetal replied. if your baby is having ne probs while sitting,,he seems to be uneasy when you try to make him sit straight, by propng a pillow just behind his back,,then he needs to be checked by your dr.
if not,,thn there is nothng to worry,,once your baby is toddler, start teaching him to sit straight,,if you are in US, you might want to call your dr and ask if he wants to see your child,,and if at all he wants to see to wat angle the back is arched....let him see and actually decide about it,,it would be practical enough,,
al you can do is try to make him sit straight,,by placing your palm on his back and pressng him gently but firmly,,if he sits straight with it, it shouldnt be a problem !
