hi
I grew up there so
I know how tough it can be. Its ok if your daughter wants to breastfeed. My mother had a similar problem with my sister who was born in nigeria. She left my sister with my grandmother for a week during a trip to india during which time my sister stopped breastfeeding. If u can find someone to help u out it would be a relief for u.
best of luck.

Dear Vandana,
Even for us elders, it takes time to get use to of new surrounding, then it is quite natural for your little one. My daughter took my feeding till she was 2 years old. Don't be more concerned about it. Well, I don't know, whether this is a good idea, but you can try starting a bottle for your daughter. Even I started at 2 yrs and now at 3 yrs, she has given up bottle by herself. It helped me weaning her from breast feeding. As per clinging to you is concerned, I think she just needs some socialization. You can take her to parks, library or some other public place where she can see other kids of her age. If she can get some friends of her age, she might become more acceptable to new ones.
As per going to your hubby is concerned, you will have to work together with your hubby about the same. In the nights, make him read stories for her when she is near you. To start with, try to have some playtime involving your hubby, that way she will get closer to him.
I hope this will help.

Love,
Aboli.

Hi,

I have a 7 month old son, and I have still not experienced this problem. But I have heard from my elders, to try applying Neem oil to your nipples before feeding. Since it is bitter, she might stop clinging to you.

RE:Adult breast feeding
I was not breastfeed in my childhood hence the idea of sucking and feeding from a woman's full, engorged breasts has infatuated me. It is a fantasy that drives me wild like nothing else, just the thought of laying my head in a woman's lap while she brings her swollen nipples to my mouth. Ideally, I'd like to finally explore this with the right female. If you are in or near... - Sanjayhyd [View Message]
