hi,
my baby will be 2-1/2 yrs old in june..she is fond of me...but at times (since i had a habit of beating her for not listening to me)she juz doesnt want me to come near her...for eg in the middle of the bath she'll say that she will take a bath only from her grand ma...& not me.
thats ok
but what is more bothering me is she simply doesnt go to the toilet to sheet.i tried all the ways like explaining her nicely at times beating....but moment when i'm teling her nicely she'l say ok i'll go next time...but again she just refuses to enter...
she doesnt mind going to the loo for pee but not for sheeting.it becomes very akward position in front of the guests since she sheets anywhere either in the bedroom or sometimes in the hall..
she understands everything & speaks well with everybody & almost everything
but doesnt listen to this particular thing...please give me some tips
thanks

Hi,
Beating never resolves any problem, rather makes it complicated. If she is not going to bathroom for potty that means she is not compfortable there, buy a potty for her some nice color and somethng which she can enjoy while using it and whereever you see her doing poopy take the potty there and tell her \"; if you poop in this mommy will give u a nice kiss and hug and a great job sticker or something. Be patient wit hkids they are learning lot of new things and it gets overwhelming for them when it is pressurised on them,
