hi i am from chennai. we have been trying for kids for 2 years. i got irregular periods and over bleeding problem. i would like to visit doctor in chennai. please help me where to go.we recently came back from US and we dont know the doctors here much. i have read the isuues in this site. please help me about the doctors.

Try with Dr.Kamala selvaraj, she is No.1 in chennai for that type of your problem. She is practising in nungambakkam. If u ask any body, they will give address. or better enquire thorugh telephone enquiry 197 for getting that Dr.address.

Firstly dont worry keep yourself cool worrying brings you more trouble than any help.
Also most of the people on this forum are either people who are facing problems and telling you their
experiences or other third party vendors trying to make money.So that means that they are not doctors
and you cannot take anything granted from these forums they are just ideas to go..

Secondly dont look for a good doctor first get diagnosed what problems you have.Listen to your body.
read a lot in the internet with the symptoms you have and read about infertility.

DO NOT take any medications in a hurry to get pregnant just wait for a minute and think what is
it thats wrong with your body.

I live here in US and got misdiagnosed in India as well as Here.So the point is not really about the doctor.
go to the doctor and ask for some routine tests to be done.Like checking your third day of menstrual cycle
and see the levels of Harmones(Estradiol(E2),FSH(Follicle stimulating harmone),LH(Leuteninzing harmone)) and then ask
them to check in regural intervals like repeat your tests for the above harmones at day six then day ten..
and see whats happening..
ask them to take some ultrasound examination of your follicles.(Usually the Trans-vaginal ultrasound gives better insight)

Make sure your blood work is going to the good lab just to avoid any human error.
If a doctor diagnoses you of something..just go and read if you have those symptoms for that diagnosis and also
take a second opinion with another doctor also.

I know going through this would be too hard..but I'm in the same boat since two years..
