I have read message from Smita kunwar and your reply for the same.

My baby is 5m old, I live in India and she has D shaped head.
I always felt this can be changed, but when i asked the doc, she said it was genetic! I found hard to believe but she is the doc.

Can i do anything now? Will it help if I use the mustard seed pillow?

The baby rolls over, lifts head, sits with supoprt .. has achieved all the milestones of this age. The fontanel is still soft at one v small place.

You have mentioned that it might go off at 6-9m but i m worried as my 5yd old kid also has a D shaped head.

Please suggest me too!

yes you can try using mustard seed pillow.

the fontanelle or fontanel remains soft until the age of 1 yeear,,
from your mesg baby age was not clear to me.as in sentence its mentioned that 5months and other its 5 years...is it 1 baby or 2 babies of diff age or 1 baby age not mentiond clearly ? neways,,,
about d shaped head,,if at all its above 9months or 1 year, the cause fo d shaped or cone shaped or more than average broad skill,,,could be genetic and whether or not its a genetic disorder can be determined by consulting an expert in pediatric geneticist(dr in genetic disorders/syndromes)...or a pediatric neurologist might also help to find out the root cause...

he might do some genetic tests or skull xrays,,and it might help you find out the cause,,and thereby find a proper solution to your problem..
