Does anyone know about any folktales about Kheer? I know my mum used to tell me a lovely story about kheer, but can't remember it now. It was something about a poor woman who wanted to make kheer for her little child..I can't remember the rest though.

I have been put in a spot as my 4 year old loves Kheer and keeps on asking me about a story about it.

hi I just wanted to suggest if you dont remember that story why dont you just make a new one and you can even include your child in it and weave it around him he will be more excited to hear such a story in which he is the hero
