Dear Archie,

Had my appt in the morning. Finally met my Gyn that i had seen for my first appointment. Everything is normal. My BP is good, i seem to have lost a pound this week.
I asked her about the baby weight and about my last ultrasound which showed baby weight was 7 pounds. She said i do not think baby is very big right now...may be around 7 to 7 1/2 pound right now....unless you are hiding the baby really well. when i asked she checked my stomach twice and measured and said so.
Also she did internal exam and said cervix is still closed but there is little thinning.
For last 2-3 days the baby movement has decreased. I did tell her about that too.she has asked me to really keep an eye on it. Actually by decrease i mean that before movements used to be there all the time throughout the day and they used to still like kicks. But last few days the movements are very light just like rolls and few throughout the day. I can still get 10 or more counts per 30-45 min if i sit and count but before this they used to be within 10-15 min.Anyway i am going to still be very watching as she has asked me too.

Just wanted to know your opinion on all this stuff. Thanks.

i had my baby in july ..just wanted to share my experience. I too had lost a pound a week before i went into labor.
At the time i was in my 35th week so i did not bother much since it was too early for the baby to come and assumed there was some problem with the scale :)but to my utter disbelief i delivered the very next week..
