I am a 32 yrs old mother of a 4 1/2 yr old girl. i am in a dilemma as to have a second one or not. Is a second baby really reqd? please all parents having one/ many children advise and held vs replied. I agree with Archie. It is a personel choice but if you want it from me, I would say 2 children are better. It is better for both parents and children. Nowadays there are many couples who have a single child and i see them behaving as if the child is the centre of their universe and their whole world goes around the child. They are over- protective, over fussy,over attentive and just spoil their children rotten. I know parents of 6 year olds accompanying their children even on the lift which they use everyday and parents who dress their children in winter wear when the temp outside is more than 30 C. If you think you can stop yourself from being obsessed with your only child then you can still stop at one.

This is really a personal choice we all have to make. Experiences shared by others need not to match. This decision is based on emotional and economical balance. Weight your economy and family needs along with your any strong feelings.
