Due Date Club May 2007:Best Gynac in Mulund for Normal Delivery

Hi Going to be Moms.... I just did a self urine test & home and results came out positive. As per Ultrasound we came to know that the fertilized egg is 4 weeks 5 days old. Now I have to consult a good Gynac in Mulund. Can my new friends here help me there? I have heard that generally all Gynacs generally do a Caeserian against Normal Delivery since its faster and the patient has to shell out more. I have also heard that with Caeserian there are many problems in the long run like Back Pain etc. So please advise me on which Gynac in Mulund is really good.

Hi, i am Hetal from july 05 and feb 07 board.
i was adviced csection in US and i personally asked my gynac in india (mulund, mumbai) and he too suggested me for csection. you have to understand that dr follow or suggest having a csection depending on the individual cases,,and not totally because they follow that practise. also note that i had my csection, after being in labour for almost 19hours,,i recovered in first week itself and was able to cook for 6people in my house.. and now its been a year, m not having ne problems at all. it depnds on your body recovery rate and alot of how good is your dr in taking care of you with proper medications and precautions..also not to mention, if you are india, there are so many people to take care of things around you.i am in US and we have to do everything by ourselves..
i m not having ne problems even though i m expecting again with heavy baby in feb07.
this dr i always cross check my reports in india,,is Dr T.K.Buch. & no. is 25671447. the name of the hospital is Aparna hospital.all my relatives have had their deliveries there..also they all had normal deliveries, with babies above 8lbs,,but i was adviced by the same dr to opt for csection !!
so hope this helps you to decide a good dr.

First of all Congrats. As far as I know Dr. Upasani is considered good gynac and very busy too. She has clinic both in east as well as west. I am on TTC since last month but many of my friends had a normal delivery at her clinic but u can always recheck before consulting her. I can only guide but can't guarantee you.

Hi Hetal & Wouldbeaai... Thanks for responding so fast... Hetal I agree ... The Doctor decides whats best for you at that moment. Yes Dr Buch has been in Mulund for quite some time and has made a very good name for himself. But I think now his daugther is more in charge of the hospital. Dr Upasni also is held in high regards here. One of my relatives had just delivered in Dr Shetty's Hospital in LBS Marg. She too is considered to be amongst the top doctors here. I will be meeting her this saturday. Will give you all a report on it. Thanks again and All the best :)
