Milk is a basic need of a growing child I prefer giving cow's milk as it contains less fat and easy to digest, one glass i.e. 250 ml approximately will be OK . With milk you can add some good flavours of food supplements which will help with other nutrients along with milk properties so that child gets proper balanced diet.

I personally believe kids should take atleast 1 glass of milk. minimum. Milk has got many benefits and it differs from age to age. SO milk is a must . Just check if the child is allergic to milk products or not.

sometimes some kids are allergic to milk or sometimes they don't like it. even me in my childhood used to do tricks to not to have milk though it doesn't affect my health because i already was having lot more calcium in my body. but after time i started liking milk and now i love milk to drink in its raw form without adding any chocolate or anything..

Milk is great for bone health. It has calcium, vit. D that are needed for stronger bones. Kids should drink milk but drinking too much of it is not a good idea. It tends to deplete iron reserves in the body, causing iron deficiency. But how much should kids drink? Ideally kids should have 2 cups of whole milk daily. More than that may not be good for their health.
