Health Issues:not crawling

My daughter is 10 months old now, but as of now she has not started crawling.She pushes her body and moves forward. I have been told that only after crawling babies can sit.I'm worried.Please advice.

Hi Anu,
My daughter is also 10 months and she also started crawling just 1 week back.
You can encourage your daughter for sitting though. Try to make her sit with some support first like pillows or in baby chair. My daughter learnt the same way,
and then she started crawling.

It is true that wile swimming kids cannot sit.but dont worry.then same thing happened with my son,he was swimming till 10 months,then slowly started standing up catching to sofa ect and started walking,he totaly skipped the crawling part.now he is 2 and walks and runs fine.so ther is nothing to worry.just take it easy for you and your baby.
