Hi,
I am about 6-7 weeks pregnant and will see my Doctor tommorrow. I love to eat chinese once in a while. Do any of you eat out? Did any of your Doctor tell you,not to eat out? I feel like eating out but I am scared to do so in the First three months. But its too boring to eat at home everyday.

What Do you think?

Take care
Pallavi

Hi Pallavi,
Hope by now u must hv already asked ur dr. abt eating out. Still I'll inform u about it. Eating out is okay. Only thing u hv to remember is in chinese restaurants, tell them not to add MSG to ur food and also check if any food item (specially chicken items if u r non-veg) r not made with wine as they sometimes add wine during stir-fry. Other than this, I think u can eat anything u like from outside. But not too often though. Bye!!

Hi,

Today ,I checked with my Doctor and She told me to avoid Chinese as far as possible. An occasional eating out is Alright ,she said. She told me to avoid "Sesame Chicken" since that has lot of Sauces. Doctor told me to avoid all sorts of Spicy food from outside for atleast first 12 weeks.

Thanks for your responses

Hi Pallavi

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!for the pregnancy. I am also in my 7th week . i also love to eat out and i am eating out too. When i asked my dr. she said 1st 3 months anyway we won't like much food because of morning sickness and all. So she said to take it easy and eat whatever we like to eat. But also take lots of juices fluids ets. And prenatal vitamins is there to help get all the nutrients.
Right now i am having terriblem/s. DSon't want to eat anything. I am really scared wheather its good for baby or not. But can't help with all the vomating and nauseatic feeling.:(

Anyways i think its fine to eat out but as u r going to ur dr. tommorow u might as well ask to confirm
Take care and good luck
sweta
