hi friends,
i'm a married woman..i hv been living in a foreign country for few yrs...didn't hv any social contacts before...now after all these yrs...i'm hving soial contacts...my prob is i really don't no how to manage a party...the last time we had party at home....i was so tensed up...don't no wat to do ...where to start...finally it was my hubby who helped me out and party turned out to be good...but i still want to no how to make a party go well with out getting tensed up...how many items shd i make for 2 families with small kids...i too hv kid...can anyone give tips abt it or suggest books or sites...thanks a lot nina replied. Fisrt of all see that yr seating arrangement is proper for the no of invitiees. Mak especial arrangements for kids. like if possible a seperate rroom. with T.V /games/toys/reading material. Start with a refershing drink. (Drinks of guest choice) .Keep something seperate for kids. Plan for some interesting snacks. serve kids in non breakable crockery.Keep tissues handy.You can even plan for some games for kids. Keep small prises for them .
Starting with a soup you can serve one or two starters . Dinner menu can be simple as after eating all this in beg. u wont feel much hungry. end with a nice dessert/ice cream.Children can be served ice cream with jellly. Keep handy mouth freshners, churans, saunf etc.Can give small return gifts to your guests if anty sp occasion.
