Do you believe in the power of mantras? If so, what is your favourite mantra? Do you recite it everyday at the same time or whenever you feel the need to? Do you pray often?

That was a very informative and well-written article. I believe in the power of incantations. However, I think the power of mantras extends to all spheres of one' s life, not just the religious. Recent studies have proven that repeating any statement often enough infuses it with the power to become real. But definitely, for me, mantras are the best part of Hindu rituals. Yet, I have observed that the person recitiing them has to have some purity and honesty in his voice (or should it be soul?). Else there is no resonance, no magic. I guess the focal point is faith.
