stress pressure may be great for your performance, but can most certainly be bad for your health... atleast if this kind of pressure is what routinely drives you.

Eventually even if stress can give you an edge you fill find that stress wears you out. The amount of time it will take for you to de-stress your self and the cost may offset the extra stress you took on in the first place.

Yes you are right. People who have stressful work such as stock dealing experience so much stress that they have serious health problems such as early heart attacks and blood pressure.It´ s better to try and take things easy.

I think life is stressful as it is. You have stress in commuting, at work, with relationships, bringing up your kids. Can' t actually believe there can be a benefit to stress

Well that´ s what the article is trying to do - differentiate pressure from stress. But all the same, I agree. Pressure may force you to perform but is still not desirable.
