What do you think of the above precautions? How do you keep your child safe while he is in the bathroom?

as kids get bigger, we forget to safeguard them as we used to when they were babies. it' s only when accidents happen, (like when the door slammed shut on my 18 months old' s thumb), we wake up to the fact they' re still so small. We have to be on the look-out always and make sure the schools, creches or ayahs do the same too!

Babies and small kids can never be trusted in bathrooms - not even with an adult around. Accidents can happen in the one moment when the parent' s attention is diverted.

Many poeple use seperate baby bath tubs to bathe their baby. However, even if you are using one of these, under no circumstances should the baby be left alone for even a minute as there is a real risk of drowning.

This article is so true. Almost every child and even adult has been hurrt at some point of time in the bathroom. Yet we take it for granted that our children will be safe. Small children are especially vulnerable

I am not a baby but even I had a nast fall in the bathroom once. I slipped and was swung up parallel to the floor at a height of 3 - 4 feet, before crashing down badly and hurting myself all over. It was very painful.

My three year old son was having his bath in the bathroom.Though his mother was close by he slipped and cut himself. Had to be taken to the hospital to get stitches as the bleeding would not stop. Always have some cotton and gauze handy in the bathroom when small kids are about.

Wonder how parents ever allow babies to be unaccompanied in or near a bathroom. The place is a potential site for accidents of all kinds. Even after your baby is used to crawling or toddling around the house, caution should be exercised about letting them in the bathroom alone.

Best Play school
Little Kingdom School is the best play school near me that caters to the age group from 2 years onwards with a curriculum based on multiple intelligence.
