Bitterness

Hi friends my due date is on 4th dec.and iam in my 11th week ,my morning sickness have reduced but i feel so bitterness that i dont get any taste atall.whatever i eat i feel bitter is that ok iam not able to taste and its very uneasy sometime that makes me to throw out alot.Can anyone help me .

Hi! I'm brandi and am new to this site also. I'm 22 weeks due dec.1 and this is my first too. To me its exciting but also scary. IS everything going good so far with you? well reply later if you would like. It would be nice to talk to someone about all this pregnancy stuff cuz my husband is clueless and of course is a typical male and has know clue what being pregnant does to a woman.

hi kalps and all:

yesterday i went for my first ultrasound, and i could see the heart beat!!! it was 161 /min !!! and doc said i was 8 weeks 1 day preg. although earlier she had calc 8 weeks 4 days. but she said this much of diff was ok.
u know till yesterday i cudn't feel anything special going on and sometimes used to wonder whether at all there was something but yesterday was special i culd see the little one and was very excited, my husband too was very happy. Now i feel much more responsible u know like driving carefully... not lifting weight etc...

wat happened no updates from u guys. sterday scan showed the baby's heart beat and pulsations. baby is 18mm. dr has advised me to take all possible tests to be on safer side and sonography between 12th and 14th week. my sickness is reducing little by little. wat about u alll?

hi sam,
having second baby is tougher than the first one, coz we have more responsibility now. so we do loose temper and patience. still if we explain to our kid that they have to take care of us and not make us angry, they do follow it. keep talking to ur kid. and for diet i think dates is good. if u cant eat it try to make this dish. take little ghee and haet it. fry cashews in it and keep aside. then add grated dates to this and cook till dates are tender. mix the chashews with dates and ghee. take a plastic milk bag and put this mixture and roll it. refrigerate for 1 hr and then cut into slices. this is very tasty. even palak and green vegs are very good i heard.

i am very sad to hear wat happened. but anyway this does not mean that you shud loose faith. always think positive. i m also a pessimist to the extent that i imagine the bad side of life (wat if something goes wrong). this means even if my son goes out and everyday in school etc. but again at the end i leave everything to GOD. so dont worry and leave it to him.

hi all
i am sorry.i cant be on my pc most of the time due to my morning sickness which will be till the end of the day.i spit most of the time and feeling very week.and i have low haemoglobin count.
but it is good to hear about your baby's heart beat and that your sickness is reducing.and i am for for that.i am fedup with this sickness .i get temper fast and that is affecting my son who has just started going to school.and i feel very bad adout it.anyway can you give any idea whether as to which food is good for me since my iron count is low.bye for now

Pooja congrats on seeing your baby's heart beat!! And thankyou for your kind words.
Decembermom, there was flood of relief that passed thru me, when I read your mail. Iam feeling much better and more positive now. :-)
I told my parents and in-laws about my "findings". They were also very supportive and asked me to keep the faith. Actually my mom scolded me for reading "stupid websites". :-))

Keep me updated on all of your news.
I like this group and the site so much, I always make it a point to check it.

Read your message. Sorry to hear what you r going through. But dont worry n just have faith in God. He does whats best for us. I am sure evrything will go fine. You know i had my lmp on 28th feb. but my doctor couldnt see the child heart beat till 27th April. they had almost prepared me that there is a possibility that it might be a miscarriage. Infact there was a time when they said it could be ectopic pregnancy n i might have to go for abortion. But i did wait for few weeks with the faith in GOD. N now last time when we went to doc i could see baby's heart beat through internal scan. So dont worry n i can truly understand what you r goin through as i have been through same thing n this is my first child.
Dont worry i am sure everything will be fine as i too used to have irregular periods n they miscaculated my dates doctors were thinking that i was 6 weeks preg whereas i was 3 weeks. So just wait n leave everyting on God.

hi Kalpana, siri, pooja and others.
I hope all of you are doing very good.
Unfortunately I dont think iam doing too good. Went to the doc on Saturday, acc to the doc iam 9 weeks pregnant. She pressed my tummy and said "this is a good one" and then asked me to go for a fetal heart beat.
That is where the trouble started. the doc who did the scan said she cudnt see the FP, YS even on internal scanning. and that my Gestation sac was 24mm.
The gyneac then told me that since i have irreruglar periods they might be wrong in the calculation and that i shud come back in 2 weeks and do a full scan again.
I was ok at that time, bcoz i just believed what she said, maybe my baby is just too small.
I came home and googled for the terms said in the report, and what most sites say is that if the G sac is >20mm and there is no fetal pole, then that is a missed miscarriage. but yes there was a ray of hope which said that it may happen that the doctor has miscalulated the dates because the periods are not regular.
I told this to my husband. he says that we shud just wait 2 weeks and see. he is an optimist, and iam a hard core pessimist, but i just hope this time he is very very right.
I dont know how to be. one part of me hopes and says lets wait and see, the other says, if there is no baby then might as well not wait for 2 weeks and remove the tissues from the uterus so that it doesnt infect me.

Anyway, will know my fate on May 14th.
I didnt mean to upset any of you. But i wanted to talk.

i think the baby is well below, behind the urinary bladder. my dr showed me a diagram this time. avoid lifting heavy items and any work that stretches ur lower abdomen.
now 8 weeks over from LMP. and my due date has been changed to 5th december. i have reduced 2 kgs in one month though dr said its alright. do any of u feel movements?

nothing much at my end, i have to get my ultrasound by another 10 days then i'll be into my 11 th week. Feeling quite normal , no sickness ( touchwood). Only this morning i got some pain in abdomen, can anyone tell me which side of abdomen is the baby?
