It’s a nice informative article. Playschools should serve the purpose of exploring, learning, having fun and happiness and making enriching relationships. As you said Schools should have a beautiful and playful environment for the kids and all the above conditions but other things also come of importance. One of such is end-to-end activity based curriculum which helps all student’s development beyond the books and taking care of their attributes to academic needs with personalize attention is needed and it’s a must. So, the Best Playschool is needed for the overall development of a child.

good article, i agree that children should be sent to playschool. i've sent my child at the age of 1year 11 months, his name is david. he was afraid of people and other children. as soon as i started to send him to school, such behaviour vanished. today, he is 2 years 10 months old, he looks for children, he misses his friends when they have school holidays and misses especially his lovable teacher ms. sandra darmanin whom david call her suzy.

yes, i agree with the article as it says that if one spouse is at home they should take care of their kid bcoz this is the age when we should teach them good habits, proper diet and mingling with other kids might make cause cold, infections etc for kids have less resistance at this age and only a parent can take 100%care of their kid.

today many play schools are opening in the society this is good that people are aware about the necessity of pre-schooling but there is a great lacuna also that most of the schools are in a very small area like flats, kothi etc. where one can not find good atmosphere, play area, swings area etc. and also most of the such schools are owned by the house wives. i mean to say that the quality of pre-schooling is going downside when everybody is looking to forward. i receive so many phone calls from the different part of the country some times from abroad also whom wants to know the facts of the play school. so please call me any time for such enquiry. regards, muk ul 0987140127 0

well its a nice article, but could have been more detailed. atleast the age for play school should be clearly demarcated. some details, could have been given as regards the basic requirements for a play school. a link to the best play school sites around the country would have been excellent.

hi,i'm a mom of twins who are 3 years and 2 months now - we went to enroll them to a playschool but then found that they were actually eligible for kg1 !i wuz not sure about it since my kids have not been exposed to any kind of interaction or any kind of pre schooling or anything for that matter. in saudi we have a very closed and quiet enviiornment with very few friends - i have just potty trained them so they are still struggling with that - they have never been away from me or interacted with a group of kids, done any activity, with basic or no knowledge of english!the teachers of kg1 assured me that they will go slow in first term with their writing etc and not to worry mny kids cant even talk around here!but then i found out that by the last term there will be spellings of 3 letter words when they dont know even oral abc properly!! and the next year there will be a new language hindi n so on - i feel it will be a bit too uch for the kids to adjust to - my husband is happy that we wont be losing 1 year and that we will work hard with them and see to it that they finish lkg and cope up in studies. i feel that we would be trying to rush our kids into adjusting to many things at once and putting pressure on kids to cope up would only make them dislike school psychologically. please tell me if my fears are futile or do i have a point here. we r confused coz we dont want them to waste their year when our kids can cope - nor do i want us to push our kids into school and books and make them cope! can someone advise? is it worth putting them in a playschool or lkg directly?

thats true..today play school concept is widely famous.. im a teacher left after my son was born i hated the idea to send him to school so early but today hes alredy completed his pre-nursery at th e age of 2.5yrs i wa sso afraid that he wont be ablt to cope up but th e kind of environment ,the crowd.. different people, variety of toys.. teaches them a lot .. todays time is different our kids are ahead of us.. so they actually need better education facilities what we got.it help them to learn things at an ealy age. yes, i do make sure that he s not overburden at this tender age as in today playschool works on the principal of learn while you have fun

artical is informative. i would say that it is a good practice to sent children to playschool, that too if the parents are employed. they will learn to interact and will start to study from a very budding stage. also it will reduce the shy to go to a school.

i agree with the article. the competetion is growing fast and children need to be abreast with the latest. kids also need to mingle with others of the same age for healthy growth. moreover children learn faster in a group.

it is totally upto the parents. there should be some credit given to the child about their ability to catch up with the class average. i am clear about my expectations of my child's playschool year. the little one gets used to other children, learns to stay without his parents for some time. enjoys group play...there's the rest of his life left to study and worry about grades and goals.

besides beign exposed to a learning environment, play schools help keep a hyperactive child engaged in a range of activites, allowing them to channelize their energies positively.

i agree that children should be sent to the play school. my daughter parinita ,i sent her to the play school at the age of 23 months . according to me this is the right age of sending children to play school so they can easily learn good manners ,eating habits and how to behave in the society.

as times changes we should also change our attitudes.as a parent i did't sent my child sai kiran who is studying 4th standard.now i absolutely feel for that he missed so many things. for children age 2 to 5 is the most important to learn so many things. as i read in one article that the child brain can capture more i.e., 80% from age 2 to 5 only and remaining 20% after age 6 . so what i feel is playschool is mandatory for furture kids.
