Due Date Club July 2008:Its a girl

What a pleasure it was to see our little one dance and jump and twist all over the place yesterday. She seems like a good girl, did not waste any time in showing us that she is a girl. It was a one hour long sonogram and they checked every single organ and its development yestr. Everything is normal, the baby weighs 1 pound and 1 ounce now. I' m in my 22nd week now. She was waving her hands at us and sucking her thumb. We are really thankful to God for giving us a girl. We wanted a girl itself.

I know that the ones among us living outside India might be able to check the baby' s gender. So, as u all come to know please do share. And for those who are not going for it I think the baby' s heartbeat is the most accurate predictor of the baby' s gender. Babies with Heart rate which is 150 and above usually turn out to be girls and babies with heartbeat below 150 around 130' s and 140' s turn out to be boys. Thats what my research says as I have asked all my friends here who have delivered what their babies heart rate was and it turns out to be the same.

My baby hearbeat is 146 and last week its 153.I am really not aware of gender prediction with heart beat. Take care
