hi again,
good to know that ur daughter started to have some food and recovered from colds. u ve mentioned ur other problem of not eating outside. I'd suggest to carry her baby meal, specially all that stuff of her choice (favourites), in attractive aluminium foils or zip pouches which r readily available in the markets these days. ur presentation should be creative in order to attract her when she's outside.
diet recommended outdoors : theplas (flour, salt, chat masala if she likes, methi optional ) make a roll of it with little butter and wrap it in a foil.
poha, shira (halwa), ragi or any cereal based laddoos can be delightful.

Sonali,
Thank you for the beautiful idea. Will try this out and let you know. I have been carrying food , which she did not like these days. Now this would change it.

Hello Anitha,
Don't be panic. it is to difficult to go for any kindda 'Jabardasti' feeding to yr. 1 year 2 months old kid. Try to find her taste. You can put 4-5 kind of variety foods in front of her and try to find her taste. It may be seasonal mashed fruit like banana, cheeko, peeled apple, mashed poha, khichdi, dalia or biscuits/rusk dipped in milk etc.
As u r saying she is having cold, u should avoid milk other than if it is mother feed.
But, one important thing is that U would really have to devote time to feed her. One hour minimum is what usually every child takes. Try to feed her in little quantities but more times like every 1-1/2 to 2 hr. after.
If u still have problems then try to contact a child specialist.

Thankyou Nidhi for the useful information. Her cold is getting normal, and she has slowly building up her taste buds. As you said i will try putting different varieties on her plate and see how is it going? Moreover i have one question, she does not eat when she is outside. She is distracted and avoids eating. When she is at home , she eats some how. how do we make the habit of eating when baby is outside? any suggestions

preschooler diet chart
hi NG,
u' ve not mentioned about ur child' s likes and dislikes in food stuff, so that i may suggest a few healthy diet of it' s own choice ingredients. Anyways, normal healthy diet for a preschooler (above 1 and below 04yrs.) should include a well balanced diet, since a child' s brain as well as body grows fastest in it' s first five years. so these yrs are of great ... - Sonali [View Message]
