Does your teenager travel a lot? What have you done to make sure nothing happens to her while traveling? Have you taught your teenager the basics of staying safe on the move?

Forget our children travelling alone, even when me and my wife travel with our kids, I feel paranoid about the people around. It' s difficult to be there for your kids all the time, and what with all the news articles these days, one can' t but feel worried all the time. As written in the article, I have put my son in karate classes, hopefully that should help him tackle any situaions.

Our kids today are smart enough, much smarter than we were back in our youth. Back then we had barely gone outside our homes, and the city and its people intimidated us a lot. Today my two daughters make me proud with their street smart behaviour, they can really take care of themselves! Though I had to teach them a lot when they were 14-15, but it helped that they took my advice seriously too!
