Why to induce labor if u r 1cms dialted....
I am also 0.5 cms dilated and my doc told em to wait for natural contractions. This is a early phase of labor and it can last for weeks.
ARCHIE----- what do u suggest??

Hi archie and Anu,

Thankyou so much for replying .
I visited my doc today and she said that I am already 1 cm dilated and in case I dont feel any labour pains or water break in next week she will probably induce. But at the same time she said nothing much can be done about itching as it will only go away after baby birth. Now, My friend suggested me to apply coconut oil and i am applying it from last 2-3 days.I really feel much better and seems it atleast working better than any other cream/medicine.
Now in case that stops giving me relief I will definately try the final remedy of Benedryl. Anu, Please keep me posted if u feel better with the same.

Thanks once again
Love

Hi Nidhi,

I have been going thro' the same from past one week, so after consultation with my gyanec she asked me to visit a dermatologist.
I visited him today, he explained the itching situation sayin it happens mostly during pregnancy due to placenta shrinkin as the baby is growing. He has asked me to take 3 Benadryl Capsules everyday for next 20 days for now, which is completely safe for the baby. Outer application won't give ne relief as the itchin is internal.
Since, I have started from today, i cannot confirm if its working but will keep u posted. In the mean time u can too consult ur gynaec or dermatologist for the same.
Don worry as my doc also told that this happens to quite a few in pregnancy and is completely normal.
Take care.
Cheer's:)
Anu..
