Hi all,
I hope all the moms have now started giving water to thier babies.
How much water is ur child taking??
I give him three times solid feed and that time I give him water. He takes 2-3 sips and thats its.He hardly takes 20-25ml daily.(10 ml approx everytime). Is is ok?? He dosen' t like to drink water only wants to play with it.
One thing more.... earlier he never passed urine in the nights, but now he passes 2-3 times urnine in night. Is is due to water that i am giving him??
pl sugggest..

@ Sunita..
water is good for the babies..even if u r breastfeeding its good to give them water..my doc asked me to give Yashita water from 4th month..
make sure that it is boiled for about 5mins and cooled before giving the water to the baby..

HI KT!
I thing baby should urinate at night but not while sleeping. When he wakeups for feeding he should urinate. If he is not urinating in sleep then there is no probs. May be earlier he because of lack of water he may not be urinating. If he don' t like water then give him more liquid purees. Also keep trying water. I was having same prob with my son he was not dringking water. I tried above one and thank god after 1 month he started liking water :)
