Hi m in the biggest of dilemmas of my life..i live as a nuclear family in delhi and have 3 yr old son…its 4 years to our marriage. My problem is that whenever I go to my inlaws at taran tarn (amritsar) to visit them which happens almost every 2 months for 2-3 days m completely unable to adjust to the dirty surroundings.
My MIL doesn’t have any household sense..there are spider webs all over in kithen, kitchen racks ….dirty washrooms and now its limits I even find big gutter rats roaming in the kitchen nd house..the point is if I had been living there I could have cleaned the house as per the standards but since I stay away its not possible especially wid a toddler.
My husband is against me completely as he feels m ignoring his family by not helping my MIL in kitchen, which is impossible since I cant even stand there 4 a sec…this whole thing is spoiling our relation to the point of that we seriously consider separation….

If anybody of u wud have been in my situation how wud u have dealt with it? Please help!

I think isha is right try what she said... you can even ask your hubby to invite his family to ur place for a change..

Hello mandeep i face same problem when i got married at age of 26. I am teacher in convent.my inlaws r of same type.i take first hy hubby in confidence thn make this issue in discussion with ny neighbours and relatives.thn through a matter of ego they got improved.all the best
