Hi My son is 17 months old and recently I found he wakes up in the middle of the nite crying....it is the same prbs I can see he is crying in the sleep, and also talks a lot when he is crying.....he never had this problem before. I have to really hug him and hold him to put him back to sleep. DO u think this is due to bad dreams ....?

I would suggest you, if you can hold the baby in your arms or take him on your laps and rub his forehead and hair gently with your fingers. He will surely feel secured and will fall asleep. You could also sing a lullaby simultaneously. I have tried this with my son, and it really works. This should be done in case the child has got up because of bad dream or is feeling cold. Do let me know if it helped you.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
