Hi,

Some people stop feeding before 1 year and some go on for upto 2 years. What is the ideal age to stop breast feeding?

hi..
6 months exclusive breastfeed. at 1 year, its the right time to start weaning your baby.
the longer you take than 1 year, baby starts getting habituated to it and they also start understanding things. so then it becomes difficult for you to wean your baby or divert them.
and after 1 year,if still your supply continues, remove milk with breastpump and give it in baby diet.

According to my gyno, I have some special hormones due to which i can easily lactate and due to that my motherly instincts are extremely high. I was lactating until 1 yr back & I still can induce if i want to breastfeed anyone.
