Due Date Club February 2006:breech baby

Name: rad hi! I am 31 weeks pregnant and my u/s report showed that the baby was a breech. By when does the baby completely settle in his position? Someone told me that the baby can take a turn and come down to the normal position also.
Another thing is that I am feeling a lot of pain in my abdomen at times due to the baby movement. Is it normal?

hi rad,how r u?what aboout your visit to doctor?i have been to doctor now scanning shows its in transverse position.as my due on 15th feb lets wait for final scan till 3rd feb.do write about your discussion.

hello rad i am also in same week and condition presently.i would like to know from where u r?are there any problems with breech babies u know?my doctor has asked me to check final position on 3rd of feb.will be in touch.needs some more discussions on this topic.what u think?

yeah

hi anu.. even i think we need some more light on this.. my doc did not say anything except that i might have to get a ceasarean done. there are no problems with breech babies except that they need a ceasarean for delivery. but since preeti just said that the baby can change position till 36 weeks, so I would like to wait and see till then. I have an appointment with my doc this weekend, I will ask her some more about it and tendency of the baby to change the position.
