Due Date Club March 2009:4th Month checkup

Hi Mommies,

I had my 16th week checkup on last Friday. Could not post it here as I was not able to login.

My doc Nandini Devi is back from her 2 month US holiday and it was good to finally meet her. She is such a darling. The past few appointments have been with her assistant doctor and I was a little nervous meeting her for the first time.

She did a physical examination. We listened to the baby' s heartbeat through dopplers. I have put on 1.6kgs from my last visit and a total of 3.2kgs, which she said is fine.

She has called me again after 4 weeks. She said I will have to take a couple of injections - vaccinations basically during the next visit.

I am finally able to spot the baby bump. My husband noticed it this morning that my stomach is bulging a little :) finally beginning to show I guess!

Almost completing my 17th week... Feeling much better now. Most of the first trimester blues are gone and I am finally able to enjoy my tall glass of milk 3 times a day :) but I still can' t do away with my long hours of sleep!

Keep updating! Take Care.

Hi SK,

I agree. I was so looking forward to sharing my experiences and hearing from other mommies about their experiences, emotions, fears and all. But most of the mommies on this board have not posted a single msg :( we have so many members but all seem to be just silent observers!

Good to hear that you are also feeling better. I am not sure whether I am " showing" . In the sense that one cannot make out that I am pregnant. But my tummy had increased by a couple of inches. So it looks more like I have put on some weight :)

All the best fr your appointment on 22nd. My next appt is on 31st Dec.

Take care...

Never take Relicord - pathetic customer care
Hi All,

According to my experience with Relicord, I will never recommend any one to go with Relicord. It' s being 1.5 years now, I am paying the EMIs, but I had enough trouble with them.
1.After one year they send a legal notice to me saying that I have not given the intitial advance of 20,000 R.s

Lifecell is the best
yes Life cell is the best, when ourbabygirl was due in Feb 2011 we shortlisted Lifecell after meeting Cyrobanks, Relicord, Babycord etc. Cyrobanks are thugs they promise you the moon and also there is no indian hand in this company so we can' t rely on them at all. Relicord is good but the offers have so much marketing gimmicks. Other players lacks either the technical inf... - CK [View Message]

Avoid Beena Jaysingh. We' ve got seriously burnt up by Dr. Beena Jaysingh of Apollo Bellandur. Dr Beena is highly unprofessional and always behind money. She is incompetent and doesn' t understand patient problems and needs. Whenever we went to her for my wife' s pregnancy she wrote all the available tests without even asking and thinking.

My personal experience with ReliCord is not good. My baby is now 9 months old and the contract is still not signed. I am following up since last 6 months.

Anybody has any idea what can be done in such a case.... - Ani [View Message]
