my baby (6months)is not taking BM when she is not sleeping. I used to takeout the milk with hands directly to a cup i fed her with a spoon. i felt expressing with hand may be decreasing my BM. so i thought to pump the milk will help me and give that to her. i buyed manual pump in last month but i didn't able to pump. my hands are getting strained with ih couple of seconds. And some milk is getting out also. Is pumping helps me in increasing the BM? i feel pumping is very hard. and my hubby is telling me it may spoil your body give her some formula milk.
need some help from experienced pumping moms..
thanks alot saritha replied. if u try standard breast pump(AVENT (brand name))it wont hurt u ..u feel comfortable and u can express the milk easily....dont go for the Formula milk if u have sufficient milk,cos mother milk is best for the baby.....and try to give ur BM directly(means try and try) then baby used to it.

keep pumping reguler intervals console replied. Manual pump is good too if you are using it not quiet often.if you are trying to pump in a regular basis it is better to buy a battery operated or electric pump.using breast pump wont hurt you in any way.have good nutritious food and pump out in regular intervals to keep up your supply.
