Dear all,
my divorce case is going on and i have to decide on visitation rights for his father.
presently my ex is meeting my son twice in a month for two hours, in my presence..
he wants to meet him for whole day (basically wants to take him home to meet my son with his grand mother)and also dont want my presence on that day..
i have agreed for 3 hrs and 3 sat in a month and if he wants to take him to his house , it will be in my presence...THIS IS JUST A PROPSAL IN FRONT OF JUDGE FROM MY SIDE, YET TO BE DECIDED BY ALL

i want advise of members going through same phase that how much visitation rights should be given ..
already my child is quite attach with his father and i feel very insecure because of it..

i want visitation in a very moderate way...

Visitation Right is a major issue...I cudn' t move 2 court against my husband just because of this issue...I don' t think u can force ur presence in his house.Once u have divorced, U hav got no right to be in his house...I think there is no use of divorce if visitation rights are given to father..Father and his parents tend to divert the child away from the mother in her absence. I can understand ur insecurity.But such a father can spoil the child' s psychology.The child will not be able to form a bond with the other person in case u go for second marriage,while the husband is free to get married again.I think ur lawyer can guide u btr..keep it to the minimum..if u have plans for remarriage.
