hie i am punjabi and i need some help in choosing make up stuff. i am going to start college soon and would like something simple and not too over dressed. can anyone help me with what i must get for the basics?

which internaitonal products do you recommend? i cannot spend a lot as it is only make up after all. and living in singapore means i might not be avle to get what they sell in india.. thanks!

Well, if you don't want to seem overdone, you might want to skip the foundation. This is because sometimes (if it's not a good foundation) it is quite obvious that it is make-up.
The best solution would be to keep it natural.
Make-up must-haves are:
Mascara (pretty much any brand is alright)
Lipstick or Lipgloss, depending on how heavy you want to go. Lipstick is usually heavier than lip gloss.
Blush. The powder kind is better, as you can adjust the color better.
Eyeshadow. Pick a neutral color that goes well with your skin tone.

What u need is a 2 way cake(foundation&compact powder in powder form) and a glossy lipstick.You can always try loreal,revlon or maybelline which is not so expensive and their lipstick range is quite impressive.If you find their shade doesn't match your skin colour then you can invest in a good 2 way cake like Mac,Bobby Brown,Lancome or Channel.You can drop by at takashimaya or wisma atria and find good make up stuff ranging from SG$20-$80/-.Good Luck to you!
