Hi Pooja,
I celebrated my son' s first b' day party with a Pooh bear theme. I don' t know where you are from but if you are in US you find theme party decorations from plate to wall paper to return gifts, everything but in india also you can find the same if you do a bit of research. Decide on return gifts, and the rest of the decorations you can decide on a theme. In disney website you find all the characters and you can take print out also. Decide on games for the kids who will be coming and for adults also, for my son' s party there were no kids so i had games for the adults and they enjoyed it a lot , beleive me more than the kids. In India you can also organise a magician, tattos for the kids. Just make all the arrangements in a manner that will not make your son cranky. enjoy.
