I am in my 5th month and into 19th week. I felt a few flutters a few weeks back. I had a scan on 30th may and a checkup on 1st june. everything was fine.I have not started feeling my baby move. After o started new med Duvadilan Retard, my stomach muscles are not tense and I don' t feel anything. Thougg doc said this med is for relaxing uterus muscles. I am really scared. When will my baby move? Any comments appreciated.

It is nothing to be anxious about... My wife started feeling our baby movements around the 22nd week and I was able actually feel the movements with my hand in the 24th week.

Hey BTW what will this medicine you take do?

Thanks Kabeer for your message. For the past 15-20 days, I have been feeling very strong movements of my baby and am enjoying them. The med helps in relaxing the uterus muscles as the uterus makes space for the baby.

Typically movements can be felt anytime between 16th and 22nd week. if this is your first pregnancy, then it will be around the 20th to 22nd week... With my son i felt the movement closer to 6th month and with the second one now..i can feel small pushes or kicks once in 2 to 3 days since week 16, but they are also not regular.. so dont worry and relax.. its only another 2 to 3 weeks and kiddo will be all over the place..

Glad to know your scan went well and everything is fine...

i have read so many blogs regarding cradle,manipal,Columbia Asia etc.. and found Apollo the best..tho bit expensive but is really a trustworthy..specially Dr. Chithra.. no wonder she is busy all the times...as she is good n people want to go to her only.. yes in Apollo they make us to wait a lot but atleast know how to take care of patients...

No special food for milk. Doc has advised me to continue calcium and iron tablets for the next 3 months. Other than that my mom gives me garlic and small onions (Sambar variety) fried in gingley oil with some smalt and little pepper to take with rice. Garlic is said to be good for milk.
