Due Date Club April 2004:visa papers

Name: jenn Hope everyone is doing great!!
i was wondering if anyone has already sent visa papers for thheir parents/inlaws coming to U.S.
my parents will be coming form south so will be going to chennai for interview,,
do you think its too early or late to send papers??
any suggestions on this???

My hubby sent all the required paper work for my in laws in december itself. My in laws have their appt set on 20th in Delhi. Lets see what happens...

I will be sending all the necessary papers within a week or so. you can fix an appoitment from the site mansi gave. Planning to bring my parents around mid march. they have to go for appt in chennai consulate.

thanks for you immediate reply. are your inlaws going for interview or are sending thru post, my parents are going for interview as none of them are above 60 years of age.
also do you need fix an appointment for interivew and did you fix an appointment thru the internet,,if so please let me know..
i intend to call them here in the mid march, what about you?/

They have to attend the interview at chennai as mom is not yet above 60. Now a days its a must to make an appointment in advance at consulate and u can do it fro, here itself through the web link I gave in the previous msg. If u r planning to bring them here in march I think its time u atleast make an appointment. Last time when I checked it there was only 7-8 days available in Jan so do remember to check it out soon.

My parents have already got multiple entry visa & for my inlaws we have already send the papers. Now a days its tough to get the appointment date so I think its better to book one soon if u are planning to bring them in next 2-3 months time.
