Hi Rashi, You postd this msg in 2001. Your daughter would be around 15 yrs old now. My daughter is 4.5 months and she also has a flat head and it looks longer than normal from side view. I am worried about this but elders in the house are saying it gets normal as baby grows. Can you please tell me if you used mustard pillows as suggested in the trailing mails and did it help? I hope it did and hope your daughters head is normal shape now.

hi there!! ive read ur prob...nothing to worry. i dunno if u have a mil or if ur moms around you, but in the olden times, they used to keep a round pillow - (hollow in the inside) and the babys head used to go in it. So when the baby used to sleep or turn her head. it used to get moulded in that shape. Nowadays in the market, we dont get such pillows...so my advise is make one...my dad made 1 for my daughter...take a rope...and wind it in a round shape and then cover the rope with a sponge first to cover the rope. u can fasten the sponge to the rope with the help of a thread we use for stitching clothes (make sure u tie it tightly) and then again put a thick cloth over the pillow and cover it well and again u can tie the cloth to the pillow with the thread ...do this vv tightly and there u have a round hollow pillow and u can keep ur baby head in it. but see to it that the pillow is just right for her head...not too big or small... hope this works..(i could give u the pillow of i was living nearby to u...where do u live???) I live in muscat bye and let me know if u succeeded in making the pillow

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
