Milestones:Eating problem. hetal, can you please help?
2006-09-18
Name: Worried Mom.

My son is 2.5 years old is doing very good in all aspects except for his chewing problem. He cant chew his food and will just swallow every thing. I am working and my MIL takes care of him (wiht the help of a maid). She used to put the food in mixie and feed him and he never learned to chew. Now we are realizing that it is heard to change that. Now he goes to play school and still doent eat any thing from his tiffin box..Just brings it back home. But his weight/height is excellent. he is above avearage. We pure food and give, but we make sure that every thing goes in to his stomach. so, that is not a problem, but how to make him eat like other kids. I feel sad for him, when I see kids eating pizzas and chocolates. he cant even eat a biscuit. he chokes. :(
Plese suggest....
Dont tell me to stop puring the food in one day. he will have to starve then...
Please suggest.
With lots of hope....

hello jayashree
dont get afraid and dont loose hopes, your son is absolutely fine, and give him the proper tuition and avoid more playing periods of his, and you should teach him at home when you will get free time.... - praglabh [View Message]
