Routine Tests:Delivery date

Name: Pooja My last periods started on 27th may 2008.
Please can anybody say what would be my delivery date. My doctor has not yet told about the dates.

Well doc has suggested me to take small meal in small gap atleast after every 2 hrs.

Doctor´ s visit

Hi Nancy and Renu,

Sat i visited the doctor. She did an ultrasound to check the baby' s heartbeat and all is normal. She has given my delivery date as 3rd March. She asked me to undergo lot of tests. It was a pregnancy package tests. Have given blood, urine and stool sample and by wednesday the reports will be ready and then have to meet the doctor with the reports.
Since i am having severe vomiting she asked me to continue with the medcine to reduce it and in my last visit she had give a folic acid medicine for baby' s brain development and asked me to continue till my next visit which is in August 16th.

Rest all i will keep you posted.

Hi Pooja, I think we both will be delivering at the same time. My last period was on May 30th and my due date is around 6-8 March 2009. Be in touch. can share lot of things during our pregnancy.

hey pooja, i m from west Delhi, working in financial sector, sales job.
& i didn' t went for any doc test yet,,, i had done pregnancy test at home only... my momi-in-law is not willing to go b4 3months,,, so, u do discuss with me all the little & beeg things abt this,,,,
can u plz ask ur doc for me that I do need to travel officail,,, so wht wld be the better option for me,,, wht shd i use or aviod metro, riskhaw, auto, walkin or bus..

Hi Nancy,

Nice to see that we will be delivering at the same time next year. Is it your 1st baby??. I have also not visited the doc as of yet, planning to go for my 1st visit after 25th July (end of 8th week). What bout you, let me know when you go for the 1st visit and the experience.

Hi Nancy,

I am in Chennai and a software engineer. Even my MIL keeps saying that you should go to the doctor only after 3 months. But i am going without informing her. In their times it may be that way but now its different with so many problems and cure for all. So i would advice you to see a doctor. the doctor would also advice the do´ s and dont´ s. I am adviced not to take pineapple and papaya strictly and no medicines without doctor´ s approval. I was having severe vomiting and doctor adviced me to take a particular medicine which is permittable for me. Reduce the amount of climbing steps and avoid 2 wheeler as much as possible. Even if u go by auto ask them to ride slowly.

In my first visit, 2 weeks ago ultrasound was performed and tomorrow again i would be going to see the doctor to check baby´ s heartbeat and some other tests. and would keep you posted. If you have any personal id then let me know.

precautions

hi just remember the road should not be bumpy u shud not get lurches which is harmful for the first 3 months...dont trip and fall . i was told these things by my doc and papa who is doc as well...

I am glad to see ur message. We can share our experience as time progresses. My wedding anniversary is on 11th Feb and i would be so glad to have my baby also on the same day. I will be going for check-up this saturday and probably would know the dates then.

hi
i have a very good book in which due dates chart is given for each and every date so for 27 may it is 3 feb 2009.
its very accurate.even it showed my to be on 27 sept and the doctor also confirmed it to be the same.
so all the best
