few months ago i was badly beaten by my hubby and kicked out of the house.my only little 2 yr old child was not allowed to acompany me.After few days on my B day I saw my hubby with my child on the way. My child came to me and I bought him to my parents home.After 15 days my husband with few gundas came to my home badly injure my mom and aunt and forcibly took away my child. that was 13 aug 2008. from that very moment my child is missing. my husband together with all my inlaws shifted from the city. they switched off all their mobiles. I have not seen my child for last 7 months. my each day is lost in searching them . 24 hours my beyes are wet . please suggest me what to do. my inlaws are very rich and powerful persons. i have already taken help of police but because of the money and power possessed by my inlaws i m not able to get my child back . suggest me what i do to get my child back indian replied. i totally agree with MEL. I think those two options given by her is the best options.

You could also start the whole issue by give a missing adv. in the leading newspaper.

The first that would be raised would be what were you doing since Aug. 2008. So keep all your records and papers ready to show all the attempts that you had made since AUg.2008.

You could also try sending a email/letter to the Women and Child Welfare Minister... Renuka Chow....

Mel replied. I am shocked after reading your message. We crib and complain about day to day issues and relationships, but I cannot even imagine what you are going through.

I can only think of 2 solutions to your problem:
1. Contact as many women' s groups / social services NGOs as possible. Tell them your story and give them a photo of your child.
2. PRESS: I cannot emphasize this point more. Go to the media. They will kick up a storm. Photographs of your child will be flashed on TV and someone or the other will phone in with details about him / her.

Once this happens, then the womens groups will pressurise the political system / police to get your child back to you.

I sincerely pray that you get your child back. And if your husband has taken your child away in the manner that you said, then I truly believe that you WILL get your child back.

But, don' t give up. Keep at it. And you will get your child back.
