hi,

my skin is very sensitive, if i hurt myself or scratch a mosquito bite it leaves a mark....coz of this i have marks on my legs & shoulders. i cant wear backless tops or skirts...i consulted lots of dermatologist and have applied lots of creams but nothing has worked so far....right now i am using mederma twice a day on the scars & also applying a mixture of lemon juice and glycerin(this mixture i apply and keep it overnight)....i have been doin this from past 1 week...i am getting married in few months and want to get rid of ths marks...should i continue with what i am doing or should i do something else....pls help maryam replied. i want to try invicible. It seems amazing Samantha replied. IS is good but try treating your marks along with giving your marks proper home care. Proper diet intake, moisturizing the affected skin help alot in healing such scars and marks Loveydovey replied. Oh i can imagine your situation. I had mosquito marks too. Have you had your iron levels checked? Anaemic people tend to scar and get marks very easily.

Anyway, i had scar on my face from a very mild acid (thank god it wasn' t a strong acid)which burnt/discoloured a small section of my face. I can tell you it was gone in 2 months like magic.

Basically after i got the burns i decided to do some research and i went through a couple of journal articles and things on experiments scientists had conducted. I found that in order for a scar to heal quickly it must be moisturized - honey is excellent moisturiser.

I also was looking for a natural herb/substance that caused scars to heal faster and amazingly i was shocked when the answer was Turmeric (i had a whole jar in my kitchen) - it performed very well in invitro experiments at healing human tissue. I drank it and applied it to the scarred areas.

So basically i combined the two and applied it every night without fail - occasionally adding lemon juice to the mix so it would act as a peeling agent removing the top layer of scarred skin.

The results were amazing - i' m usually the type that goes to the doctor and gets a cream and wouldn' t try a natural method - as its just easier to do that in Australia. I' m so glad i took a natural chance for once.

i think there is a product called Cica Care that kind of works the same to the whole treatment that i did.
If all else fails i think you could just go for a chemical peel to remove the scars/marks - but that might be an issue since you have sensitive skin.

If your super desperate and don' t have enough time just use makeup - MAC makes some body as well as face makeup (in Indian/Asian skintone shades) - bit pricey though.
