hi
this is my second pregnancy after 4yrs. my first was normal and i was 95kgs when i delivered. now i am 2mnths pregnant, weighing 94kgs. i am 28 yrs old. will my overweight affect the baby. i am so worried about this pregnancy and everyone are making me anxious too, which is making me more and more worried. i am trying my best to watch what i eat. Is or was anyone pregnant with this weight. please tell me how things is or was.
please advise if any...God Bless U all.

i was also 94 when i conceived.i delivered in august 2008 and iam 24yrs. fortunately during my intial months i lost 8-10 kgs due to vomitting and became 86kg.during my preg my weight gain at the day of delivery was 3kgs(excluding bbay weight)baby was another 3.5kg
what i did was avoided all sugary items(though once awhile i took sweets due to cravings.)cut back on rice,ate more chappati and 2 glasses milk all unsweetened.no juices with sugar,only whole fruits.no oily or fried stuff as far as possible.no ghee,no much red meat or burgers.so by god' s grace there was on bp or sugar.i had easy normal delivery within an hour.go for walks(slow ones)towards end of seven months.my doc told me to keep weight gain as 7kgs max.
dont worry dont listen to others.u can do it.u wont harm baby.eat healthy foodsmore veges and milk..all the best.
do ur sugar test in time.

thanks for ur reply. congrats to u, wishing u a happy parenting... sorry i couldnt reply sooner becoz i am having these headaches, which is putting me off mood these days...even now i am emailing with an headache. it must have been terrible vomiting everything u ate. but it did u good on the long run. u lost so much weight...thats so cool. but for me i have no vomiting at all. only evening sickness...so i have my dinner very early. so i dont think i am gonna be so lucky as u. i only wish i did....u wont believe i am not a lover of rice. but these days thats the only thing i am craving for. anyways i have to take care though. i am really trying my best here to avoid rice. and i am praying everyday that God will help me keep my weight in control...thanks girl anyways. all the best....God Bless u and ur family
