Hi Sweta,Uma and Bargavi,

I too have back ache some times. Here are some tips we can try to reduce back pain.

When you get back pain, you can do certain things.

Get someone to give you a back massage with some oil. I use coconut oil.
Take a warm bath and show your back towards shower for sometime.
A hot or cold pack on the affected area can to get some relief.
Put a cushion behind your lower back if you need to sit
Lie down and take rest for a while if you can.

To avoid getting back pain you can try these.

Pelvic tilt is a good exercise for back.
Be straight when you are standing.
If you need to sit all day at work, make sure to sit up straight and keep your feet slightly raised off the floor.
Don' sit for long periods; take a break after each hour and walk for few minutes in the office.
Try to Sleep on a firm mattress
Sleep on left side and Put pillow at your back to support or use pregnancy wedge
During day a back support belt can relieve pain
Don't wear high heels. Wear medium flat, comfortable shoes.
Always bend from your knees and lift objects.Don't try to lift heavy objects.

Take care
Anu

Tell me abt it. I was crying all night sterday and dayb4. I sleep in the rocking chair for few hrs at night.
I tell my hubby to press my back. I really feel good, but after he finishes it comes back in 5 min. I also took shower and showed my back in hot water middle of the night when I cudnt bear it. That was a relief too.
Also, I tell him to apply ZanduBalm little bit, the burning sensation kind of feels good and I goto sleep.
But all this is temporary relief only. It will come back next day.
Its mainly coz of our posture and sleeping position.
Doc says I have to live with it since the growing weight of baby shifts our center of gravity to the back.
I thot body pillow will help.... shld rethink abt buying it then.

Hi Sweta,
Even at times i have very severe backache,i too dunno wht to do.But whenever its severe i lie down for some time.
I hope ur not exerting urself too much.If so relax and rest as much as u can.
I wish someone from our group come up with a better conclusion for this.
