Hi Paige,

That was just a piece of advice. Actually we all are not experts on infertility problems. Hence it is better not to discuss too much as this leads to a lot of confusion. If you want, you can get a second opinion from some other doc. That would at least worth a thought. but here people write sheer out of their own experience or sometimes taking some cue from the ones they know. That opinion again is self formed and based on one' s knowledge and perception. So it is better for all of us not to go into too much of details of treatment aspects as that' s for the doc to decide which treatment option is better. Dun you think infertility is something for which the treatment varies from person to person?? I' m sure Dr. Mahajan wud not suggest you to undergo IUI or IVF unless she' s dead sure that the chances of you getting pregnant are good. So have faith in your doc. god bless!!!!

IVF via Donor Sperm
Hi, we are planning for ivf via donor sperm as we have genetic history wherein my daughter is ASD and mine own brother is ADHD hence genetic counselor said there is risk of 15-20 percent of child being autistic if we use our own gamet. If male child is born the risk is higher than a girl child.

Hence we thought to go for donor sperm. But there is still... - SS [View Message]
