Hi Gals,
Are any of you experiencing this problem with your baby. Anish has these red rashes on his cheeks which his ped said are baby acne and she said it will go away in a month or two. Its been a month now and it still is there. Though it doesnt bother Anish, still it will be good to have his peaches and cream skin back! His ped said to leave it alone and also suggested a cream when we asked for it. But I'm scared to try anything since that may further damage his baby skin...

Hi

My son too has this problem-but I dont think its acne-he gets a kind of a boil like a pimple which appears anywhere on the body, diappears within a week and later appears somewhere else. What is it

Hey Anu,
Donot worry. Arjun also went through acne. Our ped mentioned that most babies get it because the babie's hormones are rejecting the mother's hormones given to the baby through the milk. I did not use anything special - only regular cream - Aveeno or Cetaphil. For Arjun these acne lasted for 2 weeks. Maybe for other babies it takes a longer time.
Do not worry....very soon Anish's soft skin will be back!

i havent tried anything on Anishs skin yet. Just olive oil before bathing him. The rashes seem to have reduced since yesterday so i'm hoping it'll go away in a few days.
