To get the full health benefits of flax, one to two tablespoons of ground or milled flax is to be taken daily. When using ground flax, because of its high fiber content, add it slowly, starting with about a tablespoon a day and working up to two or more per day.
Flax is a natural plant source of vital nutrition and is considered safe for healthy people of all age groups. young children can also have it but in low doses.

Flax seed benefits could help you improve digestion, give you clear skin, lower cholesterol, reduce sugar cravings, balance hormones, fight cancer and promote weight loss… and that’s just the beginning!

Flaxseeds, sometimes called linseeds, are small, brown, tan or golden-colored seeds that are the richest sources of a plant-based omega-3 fatty acids, called alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) in the world!
Another unique fact about flaxseeds is that they rank #1 source of lignans in human diets. Flaxseeds contain about 7 times as many lignans as the closest runner-up, sesame seeds.
it is also helpful for regular menstruation.

Flax can be added to your diet in a variety of easy ways to gain the health benefits. You can use whole flaxseeds or flaxseed meal in batters, doughs and main dishes that are to be cooked. You can add flaxseeds, in whole form, and as flax meal, to casseroles, such as pasta dishes and meat loaves, or use it in breadings on meats to be baked.Flaxseed can replace all of the oil or shortening called for in a recipe because of its high oil content. When flaxseed is used instead of oil, baked goods tend to brown more rapidly.Vegetarians substitute a flaxseed mixture for eggs in selected recipes like pancakes, muffins, and cookies. Or simply flax seed powder can be put over porridge or other food items and taken.
