Crying & Colic:Baby cries before urination

Dear All,
Hi, i am a new member in this community... my daughter is 5 weeks old and she cries before passing urine, we have been observing this since she was 3 weeks old... she passes urine quite frequently and lot of it. I consulted a doctor and she suggested Urine routine and culture tests, the reports were normal. Doctor says this is due to bladder distension... has anyone else observed this in their baby? can anyone tell me when this usually stops?

Hi paramita,

therz no need to worry about it. it happens in most of the kids. my daughter, who is now 3 months also had the same issue, gradually it reduces. your doctor is right.i too had checked with my doctor and he said thats it is absolutely normal

i had heard this anti colic bottles are reduce gas in stomach, and that is good for kid health, my friend found the coiic bottle on beebaby, that is easy to clean and i guess is definitely worth the price.... - ramesh [View Message]

she is not getting enough milk for feeding, and thats why may be she was awake in night, so try to feed her properly and then only think on that and take any decision.... - rudra [View Message]
