Hi,
I am a mom of 3 months old kid. My problem is my kid is taking very less quantity of my BF milk for past 15 days. Whenever he feel hungry he takes my milk only for 5 mins. After wards if I force him to take he is crying. Once he take my BF milk after that he doesn't take it again for atleast 4 hrs. If he is awake he is not taking my BF milk. Hence I am giving while he is feeling sleepy. I felt that it was insufficient for him and started with formula feed. He is taking 100 ml of formula feed one time.

Now I am feeling very guilty for not giving enough BF milk for him. Could you please suggest
how can I make him to take more BF milk. How do we come to know whether my milk is sufficient for him?
akki replied. hello priya you are not alone, iam there to give you a company. even my baby also like that only and same age..iam giving very frequently while she is sleeping means sometimes for onehr and sometimes 2hrs. i will put alarm for night. its risky but what to do? i want anyway i want to give as much as possible. as i feel they need much bmilk as for their good and healthy growth both mentally and physically. are you giving any cereals to your kid..

After feeding him , use manual or electric pump ta take it out ur remaining milk and refrigerate it, so that if he cries u can give him ur breastmilk which u've stored. No guilty feelings. console replied. hai! there is nothing to worry.and there is no neet to give him formula milk.your baby is getting older,so now he is distracted to the environment.belive it or not baby can empty the whole breast in just couple of minutes.you have mentioned that he is sleeping for 4hrs.if he is hungry then he wont sleep for that long.the best way to feed him is when he is sleepy or make the room dull witn little or no noise.as long as he has enough wet diapers and gaining proper weight there is no need to worry.take care.
