Infertility Solutions:Fibroid and Small Hydrosalpinx on the right

We are trying for second baby since start of this year but still unable to conceive. I am 37 now and hubby is 40. We have a 11 yr old son. First pregnancy was C-Section. Here are few findings that we did in the present cycle after trying normally for five cycles:

Only one follicle was growing in right ovary
Day09 13 x 14 Endometrum type 6mm
Day12 20 x 18 Endometrum type 6mm
Day13 20 x 19 Endometrum type 7mm
Day14 21 x 19 Endometrum type 8mm **
Day15 20 x 19 Endometrum type 8mm
Day16 Ruptured Endometrum type 8.2mm

Small Hydrosalpinx noted on the right
Ant wall fibroid 2.4 x 2.0

** Gynac injected HUCOG-10000HP on Day14
Taking Duphastone 10mg and Progynova 2mg twice a day
Took Clome 50mg for 5 days from D3 to D7 before injection.
Hubby is on Productive-M (Clomifene Citrate Tablets IP & Antioxidants, Multivitamin, Amino Acid & Minerals Tablets)

Semen Analysis for Hubby:
Vol tested : 1ml
Appearance : Creamish white
Self liquification : Complete
Viscosity : Normal
pH : Alkaline
Fructose : Present
Count : 38.5 million/ml
Rapid linear Progressive : 35-40%
Sluggish Linear Progressive : 5-10%
Non progressive : 20-25%
Morphology : Normal spermatozoas are present

Both of us are medically fit with normal blood reports for cbc, thyroid etc. We are hoping a positive result this time but little concerned about the fibroid and the small hydrosalpinx on the right. Was this an issue from beginning of the year for a negative result? Is this a cause of concern and a reason to worry about?

Fibroids are very common in females after the age of 30 and most of the times the do not cause any problem and stay as they are and do not need any kind of treatment so don't worry about it but if you want ask your doctor about it.

At this age of 35 plus it would be very hard to get pregnant it is the age for woman where menstruation cycle will come to an end and at this age will get many complications and it will started.So need to get the kid at early stages.

At the age of 37 and 40 it would be very hard for woman to get pregnant and it includes many complications in it.Male will be quite after his portion. And problem starts for female and she need to be very care of her health.

Through the post you posted in this thread i got idea about all the test which would be done to become pregnant. All such cases are considered to become pregnant.I wish you give birth to your second child with out any complications in your deliver.

According to my knowledge gap between your kids is very long, Any how you have checked with the doctors and they told you that you both are medically fit for pregnancy and you need to consult the best doctor who got success in IVF treatment because they will help you a lot.

Dear Mini,
The fibroid is of no consequence if it does not impinge on the cavity of the womb ( endometrium). However , the hydrosalpinx is significant. How did they find hydrosalpinx? Was it on scan or by HSG?
If you have a significant hydrosalpinx , the state of the other fallopian tube needs to be checked. Your doctor may also discuss removal of the affected tube by laparoscopy.

Hydrosalpinx on the right

Dear Mini,
The hydrosalpinx is 'significant' if it is seen on ultrasound. It is usually only the bigger sized hydrosalpinges which can be seen on ultrasound. HSG will confirm this finding and perhaps can be the first thing to do before considering laparoscopy. Laparoscopy has the advantage of being both diagnostic and therapeutic at the same time ie minor blockages and adhesions can be treated.
In your case the significance of this finding of hydrosalpinx is to rule out tubal problems on both sides. Please discuss this with your gynae doctor.

Thank you for your reply.
hydrosalpinx was noted during a USG follicular study scan. The surprising fact is that, the follicular study started from Day 9, on that day, the fibroid was noted and from Day to Day14, nothing new was noted except the growing size of the follicle. However, on Day15, it was told that hydrosalpinx was noted that we discussed with the gynac and she prescribed Progynova 2mg twice a day.
We may go ahead with HSG but not so keen on laparoscopy. Its just a week remaining to see what happens. Still bothered and worried about whats gonna happen in this cycle. Keeping fingers crossed.

What excactly do you mean by "significant hydrosalpinx" how is this measured and how can this affect pregnancy? We were told its a "small hydrosalpinx noted"
