Hi,

I' m 7 weeks pregnant by now and started to bleed during my 6th week. I was so scared and meet doctor, by god' s grace they have told my child is good with heart beat. But I' m hospitalized now and still getting spotting. Doctor says blood is oozing from placenta.

Anybody has faced this issue? Please let me know your expencience. I' m bit afraid

Hi Devi, I' m 18 weeks pregnant now. I faced the same problem of bleeding in my 7th week of pregnancy. Again upon scanning, I realised my baby was safe and it was an outer placental bleeding. This happens when the pregnancy harmones are not secreted to suffice the placenta to get fixed to the uterus. Doc advised supplement harmones & bed rest. Later everything was normal until I again had bleeding in my 11th week & I was hospitalised too. But later I gathered that many working women who can' t rest their womb do have this problem in the 1st trimester & is normal. To be very careful I stopped eating outside, stopped coffee, pineapple, mango, pappaya, pepper in my diet. Also I started using 2 pillows beneath my legs when I' m sleeping which gives Uterus a chance to settle down the placenta. So far I have had no further issues!:)
